Exciting Race Evening

THE exciting final of the Alpha Feeds Standard Trophy was held at the Nottingham Greyhound Stadium.

With three heats held the previous week and with the first and second going through to the prestigious final, a six strong entry competed for the top award.

In a close run finish, Tyrur Speedy, trained by Charlie Lister and owned by Ireland-based Mr P Fahy, ran out the winner in an excellent race.

The race was sponsored by performance dog food experts, Alpha Feeds, long time supporters of the Nottingham Greyhound Stadium.

Sean Cox of Alpha Feeds said: “It was a brilliant evening and we were delighted to sponsor the Alpha Feeds Standard Trophy.

“The greyhound racing sector is very important to Alpha Feeds and we very pleased to put something back in to the sport.”
