LEADING Canicross competitor Kim Mazzucca has been in winning form recently with her two dogs Fox and Oki.
Based in the Forest of Dean, Kim is supported by performance dog food experts, Alpha Feeds.
Her recent competition campaign took place in the Wiggle Thunder 10K at Walton on Trent near Tamworth.
Said Kim: “The race saw 15 canicross runners lined up for the start of the tough 10K race, and despite the weather being rather warm, we put on an excellent performance and came home the overall winners.”
“I ran with both Fox and Oki and after running round with the leading male runner, we pushed for home with 2K to go and won in a very credible time for humans let alone dogs.
“We are now in training for the Trophe de Montagnes, over the French Alps later this year but our next race will be another 10K race over the Brecon Beacons which we are looking forward to.
