Alpha Feeds Support Novice Gun Dog Scurry at CLA Game Fair

ALPHA Feeds continues to support the gun dog world by once again sponsoring the Novice Scurry at this year’s CLA Game Fair at Ragley Hall.

Held in Warwickshire on July 23 to 25, the CLA Game Fair is one of the highlights in the country diary attracting competitors and spectators from all over the country.

“We are delighted to be involved with the fair through our sponsorship of the Novice Scurry.

“At Alpha Feeds we specialise in producing food for working, sporting and racing dogs who need to perform at their best as they do when taking part in Scurry competitions.”

The Novice Scurry demands the fastest possible collection of two marked retrieves in a time limit of three minutes and will run each day at the event.

There are two dummies for competitors to retrieve; the first one seen by the dog but over water and the second is a blind retrieve where the dog doesn’t see where the dummy has been placed. The event tests the skill of the handler and the agility and ability of their dog.
