The Chatsworth Country Fair Interclub Gundog Club Team event was once again supported by performance dog food experts Alpha Feeds.
Thirteen teams from all over the country competed for the Chatsworth Country Fair Challenge Trophy over the two days and were judged by Mr Allan Schofield and Mrs Glenys Caldwell. The Chief Steward was Derrick Capel.
The teams consisted of three retrievers and their handlers and competed until Sunday lunchtime. Each of the three team members had by that time attempted marked and unseen retrieves on land and in and over the river.
After the completion of those tests Mr Andy Latham with his Labrador FT.Ch Skellorn Dante was adjudged to be the Top Individual and received the Staindrop Challenge Trophy.
On Sunday afternoon the top five teams went forward for a challenging team test and the top team Utility Gundog Society (Herts,Beds,Bucks) were presented with the Chatsworth Country Fair Challenge and Alpha Feeds Performance Dog Food by her Grace the Duchess of Devonshire The winning team members were:-
