THE British Ferret Club held a hugely successful range of classes and competitions at this year's Chatsworth Country Fair.
Supported by Alpha Feeds who provided a host of prizes including bags of Ferret Feast, the competitions were very popular and a lot of fun at the same time.
More than 500 entries took part over the three days and the Grand Championship featured nearly 40 ferrets. The racing drew a lot of attention from spectators and showed what active animals ferrets can be.
The overall championship went to Mark and Cathryn Smith with Trixie, while Jason and Tracey Lomas took reserve with Myth.
