Alpha Agility Challenge - Hilary Runs Out The Winner

The penultimate heat of this year’s challenge took place on the English banks of the river Wye in glorious Herefordshire sunshine.
Judge Pete Hughes’s course again tested some of the rising starts of Agility with Welsh connections much in evidence.

With less than 3.5 seconds separating the five qualifiers particular note must be made for Beacons’ 16-year-old Jack Greenwood with Red Rex. Just 0.52 secs behind our eventual winner, he held onto third place in the face of some stiff opposition. Together with Bretford’s 14-year-old Martin Reid, an Easter qualifier, both lads will be ones to watch at The Alpha Agility Final on Sunday 30 August 2009.
