Agility Stars Lucy and Ben Compete for Great Britain

AGILITY stars Lucy Osborne and her dog - Ben Bombastic Mr Fantastic are set to compete for Great Britain at the prestigious European Open Agility Championships in Holland.

Lucy (19) and six-year-old Ben were called up for the team and individual competition after going through various tough qualifying rounds.
First Lucy and Ben had to gain enough points at European Ranking events to take them through to the qualifying competition at Rugby in Warwickshire.
At this competition their quick and consistent performances saw then finish sixth overall to claim a place on the trip to Arnhem in Holland.

“It is really exciting to be competing for Great Britain, a dream come true and fingers crossed that Ben and I can do everyone proud,” said Lucy.
Lucy and Ben will be one of nine representatives travelling to Holland in the large dog classes together with four medium and four small partnerships.
Based in Lincoln, Lucy has competed in agility competitions since a young age and it has always been her dream to compete for Great Britain.

Sponsored by North Leverton-based Alpha Feeds who provide performance dog food for Ben and her other dogs, Lucy is carving out a career in the world of agility.

As well as a busy time on the agility competition circuit, Lucy also runs training classes around Lincolnshire.
