THE Flatcoated Retriever Society has a busy season ahead with a host of events and competitions planned.
Supported by Alpha Feeds, the society’s working tests always prove hugely popular.
2008 is the Flat Coated Retriever Society's Diamond Anniversary and to celebrate an entire weekend of activities has been planned for the weekend of June 7 and 8.
The weekend will be held at Wishaw Country Sports by kind permission of David & Anne Mitchell.
Working Tests take place on:
May 11 – Inter Area Team Final - Combe Davey
June 1 – Southern West Chailey – Bucks Area
June 8 – Wishaw Country Sports Ground, Wishaw – National Open and Novice Diamond Jubilee Weekend
June 15 – Elstead, Surrey – Wessex Area
July 20 – Dorchester – Wessex Area
Well known for their support of Field Trial events and competitions, Alpha Feeds has joined forces with the society to support their Field Trial and Working Tests throughout 2008.
John Walgate of Alpha Feeds said: “We are delighted to extend our support of the Flatcoated Retriever Society and the events that they run.
“Our aim is to feed all working, sporting and racing breeds and sponsoring the society is just one way in which we can put something back into the sport.”

Prize winners at the Flatcoated Retriever Society events will receive food from the Alpha Feeds range which continues to prove hugely popular with performance dog owners.
