Alpha Feeds Support British Agility Events

NORTH Nottinghamshire-based Alpha Feeds are keen supporters of the world of agility and will be out in force at the British Agility Associations shows this year.

As experts in performance dog food the company understands the needs and requirements of agility dogs in order that they can compete and train at their best.

The Alpha Feeds sponsored agility shows take place at the base for the East Midlands Dog Agility Club at Asfordby Amateur Sports Club, near Melton Mowbray on the following dates:

April 19/20
May 17/18
June 21/22
July 17/20
August 23 to 25 – Grand Prix Finals

John Walgate of Alpha Feeds said: “The agility world is very important to us. Not only do we enjoy watching the competitions but we are also keen to encourage owners to make sure their dogs are in top health and ready to run.

“Agility is a fun, healthy and competitive sport which fits very well with our aim of feeding all active, working dogs.

“Agility dogs need to be very fit as well as having a requirement for higher energy feed and the Alpha range can play a huge part in helping them to be ready to compete and win.”

June Bass of the British Agility Association said: “We are very pleased to continued backing from Alpha Feeds.

“We look forward to a long association and to working together in order to enhance the performance of dogs that are competing in the agility arena
