RAPIDLY growing performance dog food experts, Alpha Feeds has appointed John Walgate as new Managing Director.
Based in Retford, North Nottinghamshire, Alpha Feeds has had a hugely successful year with sales up more than 33% across the board.
John has many years experience in the industry manufacturing dry pet foods for brand, supermarket and private label customers. He was previously Managing Director at C&D Foods in Driffield.
“I am delighted to be joining Alpha Feeds at this very exciting time when the company is growing at a considerable pace and the brand is becoming very well established in the market,” said John.
“A lot of investment has already been put behind the Alpha brand helping to record exceptional sales over the last 12 months.
“We plan to carry on this success and develop the brand further. Expect a great deal of activity and more new products to be launched during 2008!
“Our objectives are to be number one in the working and sporting dog food sector and I am looking forward to helping Alpha Feeds to achieve that aim.”
