Exciting Year Ahead For Reedlands Retrievers

REEDLANDS Retrievers, well known on the country fair circuit has secured support from North Nottinghamshire-based Alpha Feeds for the 2008 season.

With the aim of promoting responsible dog ownership and training, the Reedlands Retrievers Demonstration Team have been exhibiting at shows for more than nine years, passing on their extensive knowledge.

The demonstrations are formed around the basic gundog training skills required for anybody wishing to take up shooting with a dog or simply wanting to ensure good behaviour and obedience from their dog.

Dave Small of Reedlands Retrievers explains: “Our aim is to help anyone with a dog and their training methods, from regular shooters to people who simply enjoy owning a dog for pleasure.

“We really enjoying putting something back into dog ownership and if our many years of experience can assist with better behaved and trained animals we are delighted to offer advice and guidance.”

Reedlands Retrievers will be demonstrating at the following country events:

Kelmarsh Game and Country Fair – March 23/24
Highclere Game and Country Fair – May 25/26
Sussex Game and Country Fair – June 14/15
Michelham Priory Game and Country Fair – July 12/13
Borde Hill Game and Country Fair – August 16/17
Midlands Games Fair – September 20/21
Weald and Downland Autumn Country Fair – October 4/5
