Alpha Feeds Support Major Scottish Event

ALPHA Feeds is to sponsor the prestigious Scottish Nursery Sheepdog Finals this spring.

The event takes place in Perthshire on March 1 and brings together the top 45 young sheepdogs from all over Scotland.

North Nottinghamshire-based Alpha Feeds is building an excellent reputation in the world of working dogs and is very pleased to be supporting the Scottish Nursery Finals.

Throughout the winter months the nine Scottish regions hold qualifiers for the championship with five dogs from each area going through.

The competition is open to Sheepdogs aged under two-and-a-half at October 1 and is always a major date in the calendar.

Organiser Jessie Main said: “The dogs compete in an out run, fetch, drive, pen and shedding situation, all aspects that they would face at home during an everyday working session.

“We are delighted to have the support from Alpha Feeds for the Scottish Nursery Sheepdog Finals and are sure the prizes and sponsorship will help to make the event a huge success.”
