Great Support At Lurcher Club Show

Competitors and spectators turned out in force at the Staveley and District Lurcher Club autumn finals.

Held at the Pleasley Miners Welfare Club, near Mansfield the show featured, straight racing, showing for lurchers and terriers, family fun dogs and ferrets.

Although the day proved cloudy the show was very well attended and SDLC would like to thank everyone who supported the event.

Performance dog food experts Alpha Feeds provided prizes throughout the day, which were well received by winners.

The judges included Kevin Odonnoghue and John Robinson for lurchers and Derick Webster for the ferrets.
